CO-ED school?

Intro- What do you feel about having your children go to a co-ed
school? Having your son/daughter socialise with boys or girls can
affect your daughter/son learning. Have you ever been to a co-ed
school? This essay will be against Co-ed schools.

Topic sentence

When students socialise  with each other it can affect their learning.
Your child gets distracted by boys/girls sometimes they are insecure
of what they look like or what they wear. Girls put on makeup, boys act
cool. They have different attitude.

Paragraph 1-(Different)

Your daughter/son can have different attitude when boys or girls are
around. For example when girls are with their friends they act normal
until boys come along & they change their attitude. This may happen
during school or after school but it will affect their learning. 

Paragraph 2-(Bullying)

Co-ed schools have problems especially when it comes to bullying.
Boys bully girls because they want to, but the girls have different
perspective of bullying each other. Girls bully girls because they get
bullied by the boys they acted to impress the boys. 

Paragraph 3-(The effects on their Learning)

Student who are your children get awful grades that’s because they
get distracted & one way they get distracted by boys/girls. Explame-
Boys get distracted by how a girl looks. They are so focused on trying
to impress her that he losing focused on his learning.

Conclusion 

In conclusion Co-ed school should be separate you don’t want to
affect your child's education do you? Your child's education depends
on it.

Measuring

Then Week 6- Now week 9. Weeks 6 works was about measuring angles in different ways. When measuring angles there was more than one way.  There was scalene, Right angled, Equilateral & isosceles. These angle were different from each other. One would either have a equal the other would have a side that wasn't the same as the others. Presentation about Measuring Angles. 

Food Chains/Aliens

Food Chain. On week 3 we have been learning about the food chain & science. I have explained what is a food chain, what producer is & what consumer means. On the second slide it explains thing about science like mars, different planets & the Goldilocks zone.

This is my create task. My create task was to either An Alien guide to earth, a message to aliens (it could even be a warning to avoid earth). I could only choose one so I picked a message to aliens (it could even be a warning to avoid earth). I wrote warning that they couldn't invade earth.

Today I have been post on different peoples blogs from year 1 -year 8. I have written how well there work was & what they can improve also wrote  a positive comment. This was hard but I finished it.

Fragile web of life

Task  description:

This term we are learning about science & in science we are learning about food chain & Fragile of life. The fragile web of life is all about  animals&how they couldn't live without bees because they would die us human needs bees to help the planets & we need the planets to survive.

This week's reading task is about science fiction. The meaning of Science fiction is about stories that are fake that could be real in the future or present. For explain It could be about technology & it could time travel this may be fake but could be real in the future or present you never know what could be discovered everyday. 

Something in the water

THE WONDERS OF THE OCEAN.
(Point England search the sea)

 This year us kids at Point England School are going to explore the ocean as well as different nuclear. There many things to explore, many things to be wowed & many things to be excited for. 

The beginning of the journey- On Monday 22th of July Point England had an immersion assembly. As the the second school bell rang many kids came walking into the hall. Our Theme for term 3 was Something in the water or translated in Maori "He mea i roto i te wai". They were confused as our principal, two other teachers & our school prefects were cooking seafood for all the kids & teacher that would like some. There were prawns & different type of fish to eat. They we very delicious.

The movies of the sea- There were many videos that were presented as we ate. Team 1 had an amazing video. Team 1's video was about S.O.F.A which stands for solution of animals.  There movie was about the endangered animals that lived in the sea down at Point England beach. There were different types of animals facts in the videos.

 Team 2's Movie was about animals, trees & plants. There was different types of animals that they were looking at such as seagull, ducks, chickens and many other sea creatures. There were also looking at a Pohutukawa tree. My favourite part was the ending when one of the teacher name Miss Moran. She was so hungry & bored that she asked if she could go online to Uber Eats & get some KFC.

Team 3's movie was about a stronger independent women who wanted to look for a sea creatures that loved the sea & all the animals in it. She searched & searched then came a eel she asked "are you the one I am looking for the one who can look after our animals in the sea" the eel replied " yes I can swim all the way to Tonga & back real fast " She said no I don't need someone like you. She talked to many animals but they were not what she needed until she came across a strong, wise creature. She asked him the same question it replied I have been a look out for ships, humans & our animals. I want to protect our ocean from any harm. You are the one we can work together to look after our ocean & animals.

Team 4's movie was about different things that live in the ocean including what animals eat & what we eat. There were plantains, mussels, crabs & seagull. We learnt that plantains get eaten from mussels & mussels get eaten from crabs. The crabs get eaten by seagulls but the weird part is that humans eat the seagulls anyways. Team 4 have been learning about different animals they see in the sea & compare to what they eat & what eat them.

Team 5 Had a song that they had made up into one big thing about what we would be learning about this term. The song was about cells & what were in them. There were nucleus, genes, DNA & chromosomes each & one of these were in cells. Team 5 are going to be learning about science, chemicals & all sorts of things. 

Amazing world!

Today for Cyber smart we had to research 3 different kinds of things. It was so hard to find each photo because we had to find out information about it. Please leave a comment on this presentation.

Cyber smart Monday madness 

Today we looked at Cool math games and saw some Adds that are bad some of the add are scam and can take your money if you give them your bank account please do not push the Adds you never know if the adds are scam .

Star Dome Trip

On Thursday the 14th of September Term 4 went to star dome on a bus .First we got split into group with There leader .My leader was Mr Goodwin’s Mother she was nice and kind. I was in group 4 with Santana Tupuai and other people .As we were walking we sat down in the breeze and had a chat to Miss Tele’a .Miss Tele’a was telling us to be good at stardom and remember that we are wearing our school Uniform so we had to behave.One by one each group went into the bus and sat at the back we were already to go to stardom at One Tree Hill.When we got to stardom we had to go into a Room to learn about the planets and space . First we learned about the planets like Jupiter Saturn Neptune the sun the moon Uranus mars and Earth .Earth is where we live and it the only Habits place that we can live on .After we learned about the planet we learned all about the stars the stars are the second most bright thing in the sky because the sun is the bright thing .After learning everything about the planets and the stars we had to do a quiz. We all had to find the answers in the room or outside the room we all tried to find the answer.My team was the second group to finish the quiz .After the Quiz we went into another room but this time is looked like a dome .We all had to set down on a chair and look up because the movie that we were  going to watch was up on the dome .The dome was rounded like a Circle but much more bigger .When had to go back to school a lot of people were talking about and sleep because they were happy because they had a good time at stardom.I have learned a lot from stardom because there was a man that was teaching us all about different thing so if you Have a chance to go to stardom then go to stardom and explore then go there because it is a cool place  

I learned everything about the planet and stars it was incredible that I can learn more thing and that I have never heard of like that

Pluto is a divorce planets and that there are lots and lots of moon on different planets in different area so how about that I is amazing what you can learning in your mind .

First Person on the Moon!

FIRST PERSON ON THE MOON! Neil Armstrong  was the first Person on the moon . On July the 20th in 1969 Neil Armstrong got into to his uniform and blasted off in his rocket ship. After 4 days in his rocket ship his rocket ship landed on the moon he took a big leap out of his rocket ship and left a big foot step on the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first to walk on the moon's surface  Neil Armstrong, 240,000 miles from Earth. Neil Armstrong was Interviewed this morning and he said “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” and also Armstrong  stepped on the moon at 8:18pm. It is a great day for all mankind to make this trip.
